The cards are really thin. Not sure how long they will last with daily use. The natural oils in fingers and hands will eventually make shuffling these cards hard. For example, in a situation where two small women are scuffling with a group of men and not even throwing blows, I don think a gun, or a bottle, should become involved. I get what you saying about them possibly scratching and the possibility that it could escalate (we never know), but I still think that we need to use some discretion in the amount of retaliatory force that we use.
The sequin panel is stitched over the mesh, but not directly on to it. The sequins are stitched on to a second panel over black mesh, and then that is sewn on at the bottom of the cup and stitched to the ribbon/strap at the top of the cup so the sequin panels can be moved and adjusted into place somewhat. I was able to shift both sequin panels into place, so that they looked even as they could get, and so that neither of my nipples were fully exposed anymore.
