Sayed abbas detained again after three months for not filing ‘proper application’
A Pakistani man has been freed by a military court after being held for three months for not filing the proper application for refugee status.
Khan Nawaz Masood, 36, had been held witho골목ut bail since November 15, and has been locked in a jail for 24 hours without being allowed to see his wife, her daughters or son. His family had sought bail on the ground시흥출장샵s that he had not registered his claim.
The lawyer for the family, Abdul Qadeer Khan, told Reuters news agency that authorities had sought to clear Masood of all charges and that he was released.
Masood had been in custody since June 15 but his case had stalled in the military court, a spokesm나비야 마사지an from the military’s special prosecutor’s office said.
Masood was initially detained for trying to board a flight to Pakistan but the government later allowed him to travel by boat and enter the country. He was originally arrested the same day that the U.S. ambassador was shot dead in the western Pakistani city of Abbottabad.
A U.S. embassy official confirmed the diplomat’s death.
