Dementia sufferers to wait two years for care
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has not received a date for surgery.
The case has been adjourned until March 13 to allow time for an inquest into the deaths to take place in Manchester, before further tests are carried out on the remains and new findings.
Hurd’s sister Maria, 58, said: «The family and I are absolutely heartbroken, we were devastated and shocked to find out what has happened and how long it took for his body to be found.
«The police have made a huge contribution to this investigation and it will be a very slow process before an inquest. We know he loved the club and his family and have always believed him to be dead. He was never in trouble with the law.
«I never expected the police to do what they did, it’s just unbelievable and our hearts go out to everyone involved in the investigation.»
The football club said it is supporting Hurd in the process but in a statement said it was «sad and traumatic».
A club statement read: «We are aware that the investigation into how the player died has been delayed for some time and are grateful for the assistance from the Po카지노 사이트lice Service of Northern Ireland.»
The Football Association has also been contacted by Hurd’s family.
