The accident was reported just after 5 p.m. and police said they believe the crash was caused by an apparent failure of the tire.
No other details have been released about the car or driver at this time, but authorities warned they are still working to track the vehicle.

According to Fox News, the car left the scene of the accident on Lorain Street and hit the driver’s side of an oncoming car. The driver is reported to be hospitalized.
